This post is in partnership with AmiGo — curated recommendations from a community of like-minded people & tastemakers. The best part is that recommendations will be put on a map for you so if you find yourself in a random neighbourhood, open up the app to see what’s around!
I’m not sure how it’s taken me so long to finally visit probably one of the most beloved cities in the world but alas, after having every single person I know, their dog and their dogs dog tell me about CDMX, I finally made it.
I also feel inclined to let you know that many of my recommendations were given to me by good friend who is not only a local, but comes from a family of prominent restauranteurs.
The rest of my recommendations were found on the AmiGo app where I follow all of my favorite tastemakers (vogue editors, creative directors etc) and reference their guides when I needed a few extra options.
AmiGo is currently invite only but you can use the password/code “AmigoRo” to check it out.

Hey!! Just consulted my friend who lives there and he recommended so many of the places we went to in December. He said: Martinez for dinner, El Ayer for drinks. Happy early birthday, have the best time :)
Hi! I’m going for my birthday with a couple friends in April—where would you recommend for celebrating for dinner + drinks? :)
