I’ve learned that feeling “put together” or “looking good” doesn’t require anything dramatic. Honestly, I feel the best when I’m in really good, elevated basics. In fact, when recently asked about my most favorite outfit formula, the very first image that came to mind was me in a pair of low rise blue jeans, flats, a white tshirt and a cashmere sweater.

Not to state the obvious but I also feel like the beauty of an elevated basic —  like a cozy (read: cashsoft) sweater — is how effortless it is. Flats for the grocery store, dentist, gas station (the whole errand circuit). Then throw on heels and suddenly you’re in “a look”.

Why I love CashSoft: every color, every shape, cashmere-level softness, super fun to play with proportions and most notably, MACHINE WASHABLE.

I feel like I say this in almost every post, but play with sizing!! I took the striped sweater in an S and the brown v-neck in an L. I truly take sizing as a suggestion.

A good black crewneck is crucial. CRUCIAL.

I also pulled a few items from the mens section like the baby blue crewneck below and the argyle sweater which is not made from the CashSoft fabric but certainly a notable mention.
